Rimsha Wear (“we”, “us”, “our”) runs this store at rimshawear.com. This page explains what personal information we collect when you shop with us, why we need it, and who else sees it. By using the store you agree to this policy.
What we collect
To take and deliver an order we ask for:
- Your name
- Phone number
- Email address
- Delivery address, city, state and PIN code
We also store what you ordered, what you paid, and the delivery status. If you ask to be told when a sold-out size is back, we keep your email until we have sent that one message.
Our hosting provider records ordinary web-server information for every visit — IP address, browser, the pages opened and when. We use it to keep the site working and secure.
What we never see
Card and UPI details are never sent to us.Payments are handled on Razorpay’s systems and we only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded or failed, along with a reference number.
Cookies and what your browser stores
Your cart and wishlist are kept in your own browser’s storage, not on our servers, so they survive a refresh. We set a cookie only to keep our staff signed in to the admin area.
We run no advertising cookies and no ad network on this site.Our Instagram and YouTube feeds show pictures loaded from Meta’s and Google’s servers, which means those companies can see that a browser requested them.
Who else handles your information
We share only what each of these needs to do its job for us:
- Razorpay— to take online payments
- Shiprocket and the courier— your name, address and phone number, so the parcel can be delivered and tracked
- Resend— to send order confirmation and delivery emails
- Vercel and Supabase— hosting and the database, which sits in Mumbai
We do not sell your information, and we do not pass it to anyone for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as Indian tax law requires us to hold them. Anything not tied to an order — a back-in-stock request, for instance — is deleted once it has served its purpose. Write to us and we will remove what we are not legally required to keep, within 30 days.
Security
The site runs over HTTPS and access to the database is restricted. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so while we take reasonable care we cannot promise absolute security.
Children
This store is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
When the law requires it
We will disclose personal information where a law, court order or lawful request obliges us to.
Changes
If this policy changes we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top. Changes take effect when they are posted.
